Free Pages
Welcome back to this space of creation, communication and information. The magazine FREE PAGES, as it did during the last school year, will reflect in its different sessions, the educational and cultural events that take place at our centre. As well, it aims to be a link for our investigation students, creators and artists to expose their work.
The publication is inspired by the pamphlet by the same name, Free Pages, edited in France by Eduardo Ortega y Gasset and Carlos Espla, at the beginning of the XX century, and where Miguel de Unamuno published several articles against the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera, which had condemned him into exile.
The Activities Department will collect, from the beginning of the school year: reports, reviews, articles, interviews, photos, etc, done by collaborating students from all grades and areas. Through their free pages they will transmit, their views and thoughts about their cultural, creative and cohabitation experiences. Throughout the year, the contributions will increase and at the end of the school year the magazine FREE PAGES will be printed out, to leave a record of the activities that have taken place throughout the school year 2007/08, and most important, it will leave a permanent record of the participation and creativity of our students.
We have a great deal to accomplish, but our experience during the past year encourages us to go on and face new challenges that want to become a reality…
