Pyramus and Thisbe
Por Iván Martínez
1º ESO F
Pyramus and Thisbe were two people who loved each other. Their houses were separated by a brick wall and
they spoke through a small part that had not a brick. One day, they decided to meet under a big mulberry,
outside the city. So, Thisbe went there and she heard the sounds of a lion. She was frightened and she started to
run. When Pyramus arrived under the mulberry he only saw Thisbe’s cloak on the floor and he thought that
Thisbe was dead and he killed himself. When Thisbe arrived at the mulberry, she saw Pyramus dead and she
killed herself. Their parents buried them in the same tomb. That’s the reason why the mulberry is red, like the
blood of Thisbe and Pyramus.
