This experience has affected me a lot and will affect me for the rest of my life, but every time I remember it, I laugh.

This happened when I was six years old. It was my first day at school and I was really excited, I got in my car with my father and we went to school. But when I got out and we were at the school car park, my father realized that I was wearing teddy bear slippers! I had forgotten to put on my shoes and I went to school wearing slippers! I wanted to return home and change my footwear but my father said he had to go to work and had to leave me at school like that. I started to cry and he told me that my mother was going to bring me my shoes the following teaching period.

I had to cross the entire playground of the school with wearing my teddy bear slippers and everyone seemed to look at me. I was sooooooooo embarrassed!

I still think about that day. I also think that in fact no one noticed that I was wearing teddy bear slippers. Kids always think that the world  revolves around them.

    It has been the most embarrassing situation I have ever had. I was with my family in the Public Library. I was going to get my own membership card. I wanted to take some books home with me.

Once I had my card, I told my mum that I was going to choose the books with my sister. I was a little bit nervous and actually, I must say, that I'm very clumsy.

I was running with my sister upstairs when suddenly I fell down. Everyone was in silence, studying, and in the middle of the silence I started to laugh. My cheeks were red and I was really embarrassed...

My most embarrassing situation wasn't as embarrassing as it was unsuitable. It happened when I was nine, at my aunt's birthday.

As usual, there were a lot of people there and I even didn't know half of them.

There was a girl that was more or less my age. Her name was Lucia. We played together a lot and I really enjoyed it.

Her mother was very posh. Not a minute of her time passed that she wasn't checking her and Lucia's clothes and make-up.

Well, it was supper time and I was playing with Lucia. Everyone was helping with the meal.

Suddenly Lucia stopped playing and said in a flirty tone:

``Ohhh! I love men that help women´´

So, I bravely went to help then. I didn't recognise myself. I was a little out of character!

Well I went with good intentions, and I took two dishes, one for each of my little hands. The first one was fish, and the second one was potatoes in ali-oli sauce .

Lucia's mother came with me because she didn't trust my waiter's skills. The moment I was going down the stairs I saw Lucia, looking at me with those big and deep eyes, so I was filled with excitement and I forgot what I was doing. My mind was away with the birds, but not my body, so I suddenly wobbled and I nearly fell down, but I couldn't control the dishes.  The fish one went on the floor, but the ali-oli dish stained the posh dress of the posh mother of my posh friend. Oh dear me I got such a lecture! Buff!

The thing is that my courage ended in a punishment, you know, nearly an hour in the `dark room´, as my mother said, with my friend the monster.
